The Caribbean coast can be quite hot, with temperatures ranging from 20 to 35 degrees Celcius. We suggest packing mostly light clothing, comfortable walking sandals and some rain gear such as a poncho. You may also want to bring a waterproof cellphone protector in case of rain. Also, please bring and use insect repellent to protect yourself from mosquitoes.

Be safe. Never swim alone. Check with experts as well as your intuition to see which beaches are safe for swimming at what times.. In Punta Uva and Manzanillo, the beaches are usually calmer for swimming, but every day is different. Observe carefully before going in the water. To protect the coral reefs, we can help you make natural vegan sunscreen from cacao butter and coconut oil. Please reapply regularly, wear a light coloured sun hat when needed, and practice safe sun.
